Shandong Port Group posted a container volume of 31.55m teu on 1 December, exceeding last year’s total container volume, hitting a record high.

During the period of January and November this year, Shandong Ports Group newly added 33 container shipping services, including 14 routes for Belt and Road Initiative. 

It ranks number one among ports in Northern China for shipping services number and density.

Meanwhile, Shandong Port strengthened the development for sea-rail combined transportation this year, which operates 72 sea-rail transport services. The sea-rail container volume exceeded 2.3m teu for the first eleven months of 2021.

Shandong Port Group, established in 2019, operating Qingdao port, Rizhao port, Yantai port and Bohai Bay port.
