Kashmiri Pandit families displaced from the Valley are reportedly facing renewed intimidation following the circulation of a threatening letter warning that they are being closely monitored.
The communication allegedly describes migrant Pandits as “pawns,” “traitors” and “white-collar terrorists,” while targeting individuals and groups involved in efforts to facilitate their rehabilitation and return to the Valley. The letter reportedly contains names and addresses, heightening concerns about possible targeted intimidation.
It also warns those accused of promoting the ideological agenda of the RSS in Jammu and Kashmir. Security agencies are examining the communication and working to establish its origin and identify those responsible.
The reported threats have raised fresh concerns among displaced families, particularly those considering returning to their ancestral homes, reclaiming property or rebuilding their lives in the Valley. The development is being closely monitored amid concerns that such intimidation could discourage efforts toward rehabilitation and return.
