A minimum of 20 individuals lost their lives, and 18 others sustained injuries when a tipper lorry crashed into a public transport bus in the Ranga Reddy district of Telangana.
The collision occurred between the tipper truck and the Telangana Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus in the vicinity of Chevella, as reported by the PTI news agency. In the aftermath of the accident, the gravel from the tipper spilled onto the bus.
As per a police official cited by PTI, the passengers aboard the bus were evacuated following the impact.
