China’s deepsea technology science laboratory Taihu is jointly establishing a vessel and sea data intelligence application innovation lab with Huawei Technology.
The newly established lab will combine the IT and AI technology with marine technology, create a new intelligent development model for accelerating digital, networking and intelligent construction of maritime industry, commented Zhou Yuefeng, official from Huawei Technology.
Intelligent technologies are a new developing opportunity, a new challenge and a hot spot for ship manufacturing industry. We are expecting to seize the intelligent ship equipment and innovated technology market via the cooperation with Huawei Technology, said He Chunrong, executive director of Taihu lab.
This vessel and sea data intelligent application innovation lab will focus on research and development of ship and sea data-based approach to governance, smart lab, as well as intelligent ship technology engineering application.
