Studio 30 50 will be supporting Orbyt Global on its new maritime digital platform initiative, marking the venture growth team’s expansion from Singapore and Denmark into one of the world’s most strategically important shipping markets.

“Greece is one of the most important shipping markets in the world. Expanding our activities here reflects the kind of cross-market maritime infrastructure work Studio 30 50 wants to be known for. Orbyt Global brings strong market understanding and operational reach within the region, and we’re excited to support this next phase of their platform initiative,” said Shanker Pillai, Head of Studio 30 50 a venture growth team for the maritime sector. The collaboration will see Studio 30 50 provide Orbyt Global support for the rollout of a maritime technology platform focused on digital navigation infrastructure, vessel operational services, and onboard workflow modernisation for commercial shipping operators.

The initiative reflects Studio 30 50’s growing role in helping maritime technology companies and industry operators accelerate commercialisation, deploy digital infrastructure, and scale operational capabilities across global shipping markets.

Greece remains one of the most influential maritime hubs globally, with the country’s shipping ecosystem playing a critical role across international trade, fleet operations, and maritime services. The collaboration with Orbyt Global represents Studio 30 50’s latest expansion beyond its existing activities across Singapore and Europe. The platform initiative will include capabilities spanning digital chart distribution, voyage planning workflows, vessel data services, operational approvals management, and onboard-offshore synchronisation systems. The system architecture integrates with maritime navigation datasets and operational tooling used across
commercial shipping environments, with additional capabilities planned around route optimisation, weather overlays, vessel tracking, and navigational support services.

“Shipping is becoming increasingly connected, data-driven, and software-enabled. We believe there is a significant opportunity to create a more intelligent and integrated operating environment for global shipping, one that simplifies operational complexity, improves visibility, and enables faster, better-informed decision-making. This initiative represents an important next step in our long-term commitment to supporting shipping companies through smarter and more operationally efficient maritime infrastructure,” said Martin Mikkelsen, Group Chief Digital Solutions Officer at Orbyt Global.

The announcement comes ahead of Posidonia 2026, where Studio 30 50 and Orbyt Global will be engaging with maritime industry stakeholders, technology partners, and shipping operators across the week’s events and meetings.

Founded in Singapore, Studio 30 50 works across venture growth, commercialisation strategy, ecosystem development, and maritime technology initiatives spanning Asia and Europe.
