At least 15 people were injured, and several others are feared dead after a school shooting at Debsirin School in Nonthaburi district, Bangkok, on Friday.
According to authorities, the incident occurred when a student allegedly opened fire inside the school, triggering panic as students and teachers rushed to evacuate the premises. Emergency services and police quickly reached the scene to assist the injured and secure the area.
Police officials said the exact number of fatalities has not yet been confirmed, and rescue operations are still underway. Images from the scene showed students being evacuated while ambulances transported the injured to nearby hospitals.
The shooting comes just months after another school attack in southern Thailand, where a teacher was killed and a student injured in a separate incident.
