The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted searches at two locations in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district as part of an ongoing investigation into a terror-related case.

According to news agency PTI, the searches were carried out in Bijbehara and Dooru areas of south Kashmir. NIA officials, assisted by personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, searched two residential premises, officials said.

Personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were also deployed during the operation to provide security.

As part of the investigation, the NIA also conducted a search at the SICOP facility in Bijbehara, officials said.

The searches are part of the agency’s ongoing probe into the case. Further details regarding the material recovered or the outcome of the raids are awaited.
