Nearly three years after the death of Hollywood actor Matthew Perry, 42-year-old Jasveen Sangha—dubbed the “Ketamine Queen”—has been sentenced to 15 years (180 months) in federal prison for running a large-scale drug operation. Authorities said she supplied ketamine linked to multiple deaths, including Perry’s fatal overdose in October 2023.
Sangha was sentenced by US District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett after pleading guilty in September 2025. Her convictions include maintaining a drug-involved premises, three counts of ketamine distribution, and one count of distribution resulting in death or serious bodily injury.
A dual US-UK citizen, Sangha had been in federal custody since August 2024. Prosecutors said she operated a high-volume drug network from her North Hollywood home, marketing herself as a supplier to elite Hollywood clients while ignoring the serious risks of the substances she sold.
In a victim impact statement, Perry’s stepmother, Debbie Perry, urged the court to impose the maximum sentence, calling the damage caused “irreversible” and condemning Sangha’s actions.
Perry, who had long struggled with addiction, was sold 51 vials of ketamine by Sangha in the days leading up to his death. On October 28, 2023, his personal assistant administered at least three injections of the drug, which proved fatal.
Investigators also revealed that Sangha attempted to distance herself from the case after Perry’s death. Messages exchanged with associate Erik Fleming suggested efforts to assess legal exposure and avoid implication.
A search of Sangha’s residence in March 2024 uncovered large quantities of drugs, including methamphetamine pills, ketamine, MDMA, counterfeit Xanax, and cocaine, along with trafficking equipment such as a money-counting machine, packaging materials, and cash.
