HYDERABAD: In a major bust, the Shadnagar excise department raided a grocery store in Nandigama and seized 2 kg of ganja along with 9 kg of ganja-infused chocolates, with the total value estimated at ₹3.5 lakh.

The store owner, Pintu Singh, a native of Bihar, was arrested during the operation. Acting on a tip-off about illegal ganja sales near the old national highway in Nandigama, excise officials conducted the raid on Saturday morning.

A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigation is underway.
