China’s Ganzhou international inland port in Jiangxi province and Wilhelmshaven container terminal in Germany have inked cooperation agreement for developing logistics and port services.

According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop international warehouses, logistics facilities, multi-model transportation and green port construction. 

Additionally, Ganzhou international inland port and Wilhelmshaven port will promote trading business and develop the two cities to be the regional distribution centres for China and Germany.

The two parties will also develop new sea-rail combined logistics services aimed at stablising the supply chain amid the covid-pandemic. 

Ganzhou international inland port is a major multi-model cargo transportation hub for Belt and Road Initiative, closely connected with Great Bay area.
