The United States Department of Justice temporarily removed and later republished a document containing a spreadsheet summary of complaints submitted to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Threat Operations Center. The file included references to Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, though it made clear that the tips had not been independently verified.
According to the document, the complaints were filed over an unspecified period, with some dating back as far as 35 years. An accompanying email described the file as “the list I sent Whitney with names of Trump accusers from NTOC,” referring to the FBI’s tip-reporting unit.
The spreadsheet appeared to list 16 complaints and included an email dated August 7, 2025, sent to recipients whose identities were redacted, according to a report by NBC. The complaints also mentioned several other prominent figures, including former US President Bill Clinton and singer Lisa Marie Presley.
The summaries indicated that at least eight complainants did not provide contact information. A note in the original email added that “some of these individuals are reporting second-hand information,” raising questions about the reliability of certain claims.
One response attached to a complaint stated, “Spoke with caller who identified REDACTED as friend. Lead was sent to Washington Office to conduct interview.” However, the document did not specify what, if anything, resulted from the interview.
Officials have not explained why the file was briefly removed before being reposted, and the Justice Department has not commented on whether any of the complaints are under active investigation.
