NEW DELHI: A late-night road rage incident in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar led to the arrest of three individuals following a confrontation involving the father of young spiritual content creator Abhinav Arora, police said.

The incident occurred around 10 pm on April 7 near a restaurant in the area’s main market. According to police, a car driven by Arora’s father brushed against a motorcycle, triggering an argument. The 10-year-old was not present in the vehicle at the time.

Bystanders associated with the motorcycle objected to the driving, alleging it could have caused injury. The verbal dispute soon escalated.

Police said some members of the group allegedly struck the car’s bonnet and windows using their kada (metal bracelet), resulting in minor damage.

Following a PCR call made by Arora’s father, a police team reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

“Three individuals identified as the primary aggressors were detained and arrested under preventive provisions to avert any breach of peace,” a senior police officer said.

The accused were later produced before a magistrate and remanded to two days of judicial custody, police added.

No injuries were reported. Authorities said further action will depend on statements recorded from those involved.
