A 42-year-old man has been arrested after a three-day manhunt for allegedly murdering his wife at their home in northeast Delhi and fleeing the scene. Police said the victim was found lying in a pool of blood after neighbours alerted authorities.

According to investigators, the accused allegedly attacked his 45-year-old wife with a pair of scissors following repeated arguments and suspicions of an extramarital affair. After the incident, he abandoned the body and went into hiding before being traced and arrested by the police.

Police have registered a murder case and recovered the alleged weapon used in the crime. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, while further investigations are underway to determine the exact sequence of events and motive behind the killing.
