Chinese liner service provider China United Lines (CULines) is to launch three new shipping services connecting China, Japan and Southeast Asia.

The three new services consist of Japan-Thailand-Vietnam (JTVS); Japan-Taiwan (JTX) and Japan-Singapore-Malaysia (JPX), and will establish a direct shipping channel connecting ports from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and the Southeast Asia region.

These Japanese services will improve efficiency of the company’s current shipping network and provide more options for clients in Asia, said CULines.Earlier this year, the company announced the plan to build up to four containerships for fleet expansion and strengthening its Asia shipping service.
