Ahmedabad: A 29-year-old man was allegedly abducted, assaulted, and even bitten on the shoulder in a violent clash over a disputed loan of ₹50,000.

According to the FIR, the complainant was called to Sola bridge on Monday afternoon by his cousin, who accused the complainant’s brother of failing to repay the money. The complainant denied the claim, saying no such loan was taken.

As the argument escalated, four men in a van allegedly dragged the complainant inside and drove him towards Adhana canal. There, he was beaten, and one of the assailants allegedly bit his shoulder before the group abandoned him near a petrol pump.

The victim managed to approach police and filed a complaint. Vastrapur police have booked five men, including the cousin, in connection with the abduction and assault.
