The autopsy report reveals horrifying details of the brutal gang-rape and murder of a 12-year-old schoolgirl in Baruipur. It indicates that she was sexually abused, tortured, and then packed into a sack before being thrown into a local pond while still alive.
The report shows evidence of severe injuries to her private parts, including burns, and a blunt injury to the back of her head, causing significant bleeding.
Furthermore, muddy water was found in her lungs, suggesting she was still breathing when she was dumped in the pond.,
The autopsy lists excessive blood loss and suffocation from drowning as the likely causes of her death, which is believed to have occurred on Saturday night. As a result of the autopsy report, the police have charged three prime suspects – Ananda Sardar, Dibakar Sardar, and Prabhas Mondal – with gang-rape, murder, destruction of evidence, criminal conspiracy, and Pocso section. Ananda and Dibakar were presented in Baruipur court on Monday and were remanded to police custody for 14 days, as no lawyer came forward to defend them.
The victim’s mother is demanding the death penalty for the culprits, expressing the desire for swift justice and retribution for her daughter’s suffering. A new government has taken office, and there is hope for justice, as expressed by a concerned individual.
Following the incidents of lynching and arson in Baruipur, the police implemented section 163 of BNSS (previously known as Sec 144) across Baruipur, Sonarpur, and Narendrapur police stations in the Baruipur subdivision.
In the midst of the ongoing investigation into the rape-murder case, another body was discovered in the same pond where the minor’s body was found.
The body was identified as that of Krishnakanta Haldar, 30, who had been missing for the past three days. The police, however, have stated that there is no link between this death and the previous rape-murder case.
