PANCHKULA: The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau investigating the ₹597-crore fraud linked to IDFC First Bank has arrested two additional government officials.
The accused are Randhir Singh, controller of finance and accounts with the Haryana School Education Project Council, and Rajesh Sangwan, controller of finance and accounts at the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board.
Investigators allege that the two officials ignored finance department guidelines and conspired with other accused to siphon off government funds. The bureau also claims they received significant illegal gratification for their alleged role in the scam.
