NEW DELHI: The political and economic transformation of India under Prime Minister Modi was emphasized as Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan unveiled two new volumes of the Prime Minister’s selected speeches. He remarked that Modi has transformed “crisis into confidence” and elevated India from the “Fragile Five” to the status of the world’s fourth-largest economy.
In launching the series titled Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, the Vice-President referred to Modi as “a people’s leader” whose “nation-first politics” propels India’s ascent. “This is not solely about economic achievements but also about political determination, discipline, and trust in over 140 crore Indians. It illustrates how the seemingly impossible has been made achievable,” he stated.
The volumes, which encompass the fourth and fifth years of Modi’s second term, compile more than 150 speeches and Mann Ki Baat addresses across 22 themes, emphasizing self-reliance, cultural revival, and inclusive development—from Atmanirbhar Bharat and Startup India to Kashi Tamil Sangamam, Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, and the renaming of Rajpath to Kartavya Path.
“Modi demonstrates that politics is centered on service rather than mere survival,” he added, noting that the Prime Minister’s faith in the populace transformed Swachh Bharat into a widespread movement and fostered self-reliance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
