Istanbul-based chemical and oil tanker owner and operator Atlantis Tankers starts its 2026 journey with the integration of three second-hand MR vessels within 2026.
“Atlantis Tankers is pleased to announce that its fleet expansion program has been reinforced during 2025, with the addition of three medium range tankers joining the fleet within 2026,” the company’s statement reads.
Furthermore, more tankers are expected to join its fleet in the period ahead, subject to market conditions and final arrangements.
These vessels will form part of the company’s strategy to enter new tanker segments and grow its global footprint in the super tanker sector.
“A new era of management, with a different vision going forward has begun,” the company said in a statement to its website addressed to its partners, clients and industry colleagues, adding that this planned expansion is intended to further enhance its commercial mass, flexibility, trading capability, and responsiveness to customer needs.
Last month Armona Denizcilik A.Ş., the technical management company of Atlantis Tankers Group, announced the appointment of Marlon Kerim Weinstabl as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
With this transition, Lorenz Weinstabl will continue his leadership journey as chairman of the board, focusing on strategic oversight and long-term vision for the Group, while Marlon assumes executive responsibility for the day-to-day management and future growth of Armona.
In accordance with the data in the company’s website, Atlantis has a fleet portfolio of eight vessels, ranging from 3,503 (summer dwt) to 6,435.
