The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has issued notices to seven ready-mix concrete (RMC) plants allegedly operating without valid licences, giving operators two days to submit documents and clarify their change of land use (CLU) status.

The plants are located in Daulatabad, Gadoli Kalan, Kherki Majra and Dhanwapur villages. The action follows an MCG survey that identified seven additional unauthorised units, apart from 31 previously flagged by the Haryana State Pollution Control Board.

Of the 31 earlier plants, 11 have been demolished, while 17 operators voluntarily removed their units. Three had valid CLU permissions, and one case remains pending.

MCG Joint Commissioner Dr Preetpal Singh said further action, including demolition, would be taken if the operators’ explanations were unsatisfactory.
