Why the march is happening

According to news agency ANI, Opposition leaders and MPs plan to march to the Supreme Court on Monday morning. They are protesting alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Leaders from several INDIA bloc parties are expected to take part. The march follows a day on which protestors were detained in Delhi amid heavy police deployment.
