On September 14th 2026, BGN signed a partnership with IINO KAISHA LTD, Tokyo (IINO Lines) for the time charter of a new 90,000 cbm LPG Dual-Fuel Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC).
The carrier which is to be constructed by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea, is expected to be delivered by the end of December 2029.
BGN has a strategic vision to expand and diversify its global energy and commodity trading business to meet growing demand. This partnership further demonstrates BGN’s commitment to expanding its global LPG maritime and logistics operations, which with more than 40 vessels – is already one of the largest shipping fleets in the sector.
As a major player in the global LPG market, BGN is the largest off-taker of LPG from the US and holds around 10% share of global LPG volumes.
