The Baltic Dry Index fell 1.2% to 2,664 on Tuesday, reaching its lowest level since July 2.

The Capesize Index, which typically tracks vessels transporting 150,000-ton cargoes such as iron ore and coal, declined 1.4% to 4,140, its lowest level since July 22.

The Panamax Index, which generally measures vessels carrying 60,000 to 70,000 tons of coal or grain, fell 0.6% to 1,988, reaching its lowest level since late April.

The Supramax Index declined 1.3% to 1,648, its lowest level since June 12.
