Ventia Services Group has secured a five-year, A$133m ($95.6m) extension to manage and operate the Australian Marine Complex–Common User Facility in Henderson, Western Australia, according to Ventia.

The extension starts in July 2027, after the current term ends. Ventia has operated the state-owned maritime and heavy engineering facility for the Western Australian State Government since mid-2022.

The 400,000-square-metre AMC-CUF supports shipbuilding, maritime sustainment, defence, resources and oil and gas projects. Ventia is responsible for marketing, operating and maintaining the facility, including its floating dock and transfer system.

“Securing this extension reflects the strength of our performance at AMC-CUF,” managing director and group chief executive Dean Banks said. “Henderson is a critical hub for Australia’s maritime capability, and we are well positioned to support its next phase and to capture future opportunities as they develop.”

Ventia Services Group is an essential infrastructure services provider operating across Australia and New Zealand.
