Ahti today announces a major acceleration in its growth trajectory after generating $6 million in revenue in 2025, delivering profitability in its first full operating year, and positioning the business to double revenue in 2026. To scale this next phase, Ahti has appointed Mona Grannenfelt as Chief Operating Officer to lead finance, processes, hiring and operational governance.

Ahti Pool manages FuelEU Maritime compliance for hundreds of vessels from leading owners and operators, including Van Weelde Group, Bore, Spliethoff, Stenersen, BBC Chartering, and Neste, and administers more than €100 millions of emissions exposure. The Pool enables members to transfer emissions savings from over‑complying ships to those needing additional compliance, helping avoid penalties and creating potential financial upside through renewable green fuels. Ahti Pool is a fully neutral FuelEU Maritime solution and is not tied to any single compliance option.

Risto Kariranta, CEO and founder of Ahti: “I am excited to welcome Mona to our team. She brings the operational discipline we need to drive Ahti’s growth to the next level. Her hands‑on, entrepreneurial approach will let me focus on customer success and market expansion while she builds the durable systems that keep our growth profitable and sustainable, and ensures we keep delivering simple, cost-effective FuelEU Maritime compliance for our clients.”

Mona is a growth and transformation specialist with deep experience in financial planning, commercialisation, and digital operational processes. She has led large industrial turnarounds, worked on governance at board level, and portfolio‑management at a major Finnish family office.

Mona Grannenfelt, COO of Ahti: “I’m excited to join Ahti. Its partnerships with leading shipowners have proven the model: strong revenue, early profitability, and global reach. My priority is to enhance our corporate structure and processes so that growth stays profitable and fast, and our clients’ green transitions remain as efficient and affordable as possible.”
