Two trains collided head-on in Denmark, injuring several passengers and triggering a major emergency response.
The accident occurred about 40 km north of Copenhagen on a railway line connecting the towns of Hillerød and Kagerup, according to police.

Authorities said between five and 10 people were injured in the incident, though all passengers were safely evacuated from the trains.
“There are injuries among the passengers. Everyone is out of the trains, so no one is trapped. Large resources have been dispatched to the scene,” a fire department spokesperson said.
The collision prompted a large-scale emergency response, with police describing it as a “major accident.” The exact number of casualties has not been officially confirmed.
