New Delhi: A tech professional from Andhra Pradesh, working in the United States, died in a tragic accident at a waterfall in California while on a trip with friends, police said on Sunday.
The deceased, Singireddy Sai Sriharikrishna, hailed from Piridi village in Vizianagaram district.
According to officials, the incident occurred during a visit to a waterfall, where he met with a fatal accident. Further details about the circumstances are still awaited.
Following the incident, R V S K K Rangarao reached out to Andhra Pradesh NRI empowerment minister Kondapalli Srinivas, requesting swift arrangements for the repatriation of the body.
Sriharikrishna is survived by his parents, Singireddy Srinivasa Rao and Ramadevi.
Authorities are expected to release more details as the investigation progresses.
