GHAZIABAD: Two people were killed and another was injured in a stabbing incident near Khoda police station in Ghaziabad on the night of January 30, police said on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Nimish Patel said the police received information about a scuffle around 10 pm through Dial 112.
“When our team reached the spot, three people were found injured and were immediately sent for medical treatment. Two of them later died during treatment, while the third is now out of danger. The families of the deceased have been informed,” Patel said.
He added that a case has been registered based on written complaints submitted by the victims’ families. Several individuals have been detained for questioning, and further legal action is being taken in line with the available evidence.
The incident took place near Khoda police station.
Police said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal stabbing and to identify those responsible.
