BHOPAL: A tractor-trolley carrying straw overturned on the main road near Bhadbhada village in Sukhi Sewania on Wednesday night, leaving three people injured. One of the injured, identified as 35-year-old daily wage labourer Narmada Ahirwar from Khejda village, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Hamidia Hospital. The other two victims are receiving medical care. Sukhi Sewania police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
According to police, the accident occurred around 8 pm when the tractor-trolley, reportedly moving at high speed, lost control while negotiating a turn near a forested stretch ahead of Bhadbhada village and overturned.
Sukhi Sewania SHO Rambabu Chaudhary confirmed that all three injured were rushed to Hamidia Hospital. After Narmada Ahirwar passed away, a post-mortem was conducted on Thursday, and his body was handed over to his family.
