KW International, a global logistics provider, has launched ocean freight services under Amazon Global Selling’s SEND program, expanding its partnership with Amazon beyond air freight, the company said Thursday.
With the addition, KW International has become the only Amazon-partnered carrier in Korea to offer both air and ocean freight options through SEND. The company has operated air freight services under the program since 2023.
The newly introduced SEND ocean service enables Korean sellers to ship products directly from Busan to Amazon fulfillment centers in the United States in as fast as 16 days to the West Coast and 27 days to the East Coast. The service is designed to support not only large-scale exporters but also small and medium-sized sellers seeking cost-effective logistics solutions.
SEND is a cross-border, one-stop logistics service that allows Amazon sellers to manage the entire shipping process — from quote confirmation and shipment creation to real-time cargo tracking — directly through Amazon Seller Central. The system removes the need for separate shipping bookings and external tracking arrangements.
The program is operated through logistics partners that meet Amazon’s qualification standards. Shipment creation, labeling, international transport, tracking and final receipt at Amazon fulfillment centers are fully integrated within Seller Central. Products are prioritized for inventory placement upon arrival, allowing them to become available for sale immediately.
The SEND service has been adopted across a range of product categories, including cleaning supplies, bedding, household goods and kitchenware. It has gained particular traction among consumer goods sellers that require regular, high-volume replenishment or are preparing inventory for seasonal demand and promotional events.
“With the launch of ocean freight services, Korean sellers can now choose between air and sea transport depending on shipment urgency and cost considerations,” a KW International official said. “We will continue to work closely with Amazon to provide transparent and efficient logistics solutions that support Korean sellers’ expansion in global markets.”
Building on its operations in Korea, KW International said its Vietnam branch has also been selected as an Amazon Global Selling SEND partner for air freight services this year and is preparing for launch, while expanding its logistics network in Europe.
Headquartered in California, KW International provides end-to-end logistics services in the U.S., including international freight forwarding, domestic transportation, warehousing and after-sales operations. The company operates branch offices in Canada, Mexico, China, Vietnam and India as well as Korea.
