The Goa Police apprehended three individuals from Mysuru, Karnataka, following the circulation of a video depicting them harassing two foreign female tourists on a beach in North Goa. In the footage, the men are observed seizing the women’s arms to take photographs with them. They also placed their arms around the shoulders and waists of the tourists, causing discomfort to the women. A police inspector lodged a complaint on behalf of the state, citing the importance of the issue and its effect on the perception of tourist safety in Goa. A team from the Goa police successfully located all three suspects — Karthik B R (28), B N Santhosha (33), and Ravi B N — in Mysuru and took them into custody.
