A video has captured two suspects, one clad in a Blinkit uniform and the other in a Swiggy delivery partner outfit, committing a robbery at a jewellery store in Ghaziabad.

CCTV footage from the jewellery store in Ghaziabad shows the robbery, during which the thieves stole items valued at thousands of rupees. They were disguised as delivery personnel, with one wearing a Blinkit uniform and the other in a Swiggy uniform.

“Thieves masquerading as delivery boys carried out a robbery at a jewellery store in Ghaziabad. CCTV footage of the incident,” ANI reported while sharing the video.

The video begins with the store’s employee positioned at one side of the shop. Two individuals, one in a Blinkit uniform and the other in a Swiggy delivery agent outfit, are seen placing jewellery and other valuables into a bag.

Shortly thereafter, they escape from the store, prompting the employee to rush outside to seek assistance.

At the time of the robbery, which took approximately six minutes, the store was overseen by a single employee, Shubham, while the owner, Krishna Kumar Verma, was away for lunch.

Following the incident, Shubham notified Verma, who then contacted the police regarding the robbery.

“A complainant reported that two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle entered his jewellery shop and stole 20 kg of silver and 25 g of gold at gunpoint… The police examined the scene and dispatched six teams for investigation… A case is being filed, and further actions are in progress,” stated Trans Hindon DCP Nimish Patil to ANI.

Shweta Yadav, ACP of Sahibabad, informed that the police are also exploring the possibility of the employee’s involvement in the robbery. “We are investigating the potential participation of the employee who was present during the incident.”
