Five pilgrims returning from the Kedarnath shrine lost their lives following a landslide between Gaurikund and Sonprayag on Monday evening. Rescue teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) recovered one body late on Monday and managed to rescue three others. On Tuesday morning, four more bodies, including those of three women, were found buried under the debris.
